Here’s our rental:

Kinja'd!!!

2015. Pretty base except for leather heated seats. Not a bad drive. Super quiet and comfy. Terrible blind spots, though.

It’s almost identical to our rental for our honeymoon in 2012. (Except the honeymoon car had different wheels).

Looks pretty nice! I don’t like the hubcaps though, the heritage looking steelies with the chrome dog dish hubcaps and trim rings looked a lot better IMO.

Negative. Has a 2.5 (?) with the auto.

Are you sure about that? Maybe they do it different for fleet, but 2.5 Beetles went out after the first half of 2014 for dealerships.

I'm about as unsure as it gets, lol. I'm not a Beetle expert. I just know it's a four cylinder and it doesn't have a turbo.

I was wrong. Apparently it is a Turbo. The only three trim levels for 2015 are 1.8T, TDI, and R-Line (according to Edmunds).

The 2.5 was a five cylinder anyway. You really can’t go wrong with either.

Just a weekend anniversary trip. Today and tomorrow. My wife is a part-time wedding photographer and had a shoot yesterday, so we decided to come here today and tomorrow instead of yesterday and today. We want to go to the zoo but this damn rain is making that not feasible. Our hotel is across the street from the arch, so we will be going there I know. I wanted to go to Grant’s Farm but it is closed Mondays.

I live near Grant's Farm, it's worth the trip. Pity about it being closed, but it's supposed to be stormy tomorrow anyway. Maybe check out the Zoo or other Forest Park attractions, much closer anyway.
